How to export BOM and CPL from Autodesk Fusion 360

Quick workflow for Autodesk Fusion 360 (formerly Fusion 360) users who want to place a PCB assembly order on JLCPCB.

Export BOM (Bill of Materials)

  1. In PCB Layout view, click Manufacturing in the top bar.
  2. Click CAM Processor.
  3. In the CAM modal, under Assembly, click Bill of Material.
  4. Set Output Type to CSV.
  5. Right-click Bill of Material in the left sidebar and click Export.
  6. Choose an output location; the file is generated under CAMOutputs/Assembly.
  7. Upload that CSV into FusionToJLCPCB, edit JLCPCB Part # values as needed, and download.

Export CPL / Pick & Place

  1. In PCB Layout view, click Manufacturing in the top bar.
  2. Click CAM Processor.
  3. In the CAM modal, under Assembly, click Pick and Place.
  4. Set Output Type to CSV.
  5. Right-click Pick and Place in the left sidebar and click Export.
  6. Choose an output location; the file is generated under CAMOutputs/Assembly.
  7. Upload the CPL CSV into FusionToJLCPCB and download the converted file.
